Accused of a Crime
If you are suspected of a crime, you have the right to be assisted by a defense lawyer (public defender or private defender) of your choice. You can contact the police before the interrogation is held and request that the lawyer you want will be appointed as your public defender. You can also contact us, and we will assist you in making the call to the police. It may happen that you or a family member is summoned to a police interrogation by letter or phone call, without receiving more information than just the time for the planned interrogation. Early contact with a lawyer is always preferable as it can improve your position. Calling us will ensure a valuable preparation since consulting a lawyer before going to an interrogation can clarify your rights during the interrogation. We are here to support and help you, and it is an important part of our work that you have confidence in your lawyer. We have extensive experience representing both young people and adults in both serious and minor criminal cases. For us, your situation and interests guide our collaboration, and we work as a team throughout the process. Your satisfaction and trust are our top priorities.
If you are not entitled to a public defender paid by the state, you can hire a lawyer as a private defender at your own expense. In the event of an acquittal, you may receive compensation from the state for defense costs.
Victims of Crime
Du som har utsatts för ett brott kan ha rätt till ett målsägandebiträde. Framförallt gäller detta om du har blivit utsatt för allvarligare brott och sexualbrott. Brott i relation omfattas oftast också av denna rätt till biträde av en jurist eller advokat. Du kan välja den advokat eller jurist du själv önskar. Hos oss finns både manliga och kvinnliga jurister med god vana och erfarenhet för att utföra dessa uppdrag.
Som ditt målsägandebiträde kommer vi att hjälpa dig med råd och stöd under både förundersökningen, dvs. inför och i samband med förhör som polisen kan behöva hålla med dig, och under själva rättegången. Vi gör allt vi kan för att du skall känna dig trygg och väl förberedd genom hela ärendet i alla lägen. En viktig del i uppdraget är också att vi hjälper dig att driva talan om skadestånd mot den eller de som åtalas för brott mot dig. Du behöver alltså inte själv tänka ut vad som är rimligt eller skriva något till domstolen om yrkande och bevisning, allt det ordnar ditt målsägandebiträde åt dig.
